Hello my problem is when i move my x axis lets say x6.0 the machine moves 6 inches then when i move to x 0.it moves about 1/8 past my original 0. i only have about .005 backlash in my drive screws and my x y and z steps all match the same with my transistion dir am i missing something in the program or maybe something on the mechanical part of it i hope someone can help im out of ideas on this one thanks hank |

Is your machine actually making it to X6.0? When I had the rapid rate set to high with my steppers, they would lose steps during travel. Other than the quiet clicking noise you wouldn't notice until it returned to its previous position and be off by as much as 0.5".

i found the problem it was the driver i swapped some around and then it happened on that axis thanks for your help anyway |

Which brand and model of driver were you using? If you don't mind me asking....
